applesauce recipe

3-4 pounds apples, I used golden delicious 1 c water
1 c brown sugar
3 TBsp lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick

Peel, core and quarter apples. Place all ingredients in pot, bring to boil, then simmer 20-30 minutes until cooked. For chunky sauce use a potatoe masher, for finer sauce use a food mill. Refrigerate.
